By commissioning me, you are agreeing to all of the terms below.

🧊 General info

• Unless otherwise discussed, all commissions ordered are for personal use only. Personal use commissions can be used for any purpose that does not generate profit.

• Commissions that are intended to be used for generating profit, including for streaming, and production/promotion of monetized products and services, must be bought at commercial price.

• Completed art may be posted to social media unless requested otherwise. You can ask me to withhold posting for a period of time, however commissions that I am never allowed to post (private commissions) have an additional fee. Any art that is posted will be properly watermarked and your character(s) will be credited.

• When using or reposting your commission, please credit starrieskies @ buzz.ly.

• Clients can check the status of their commission at this trello.

🧊 Payment

• All prices are in USD.

• Half or full payment must be given upfront before any work can start.

  • If you pay half upfront, you will be asked to pay the rest after receiving a watermarked WIP.

• Payment will be taken via ko-fi or PayPal.

  • As of 2/8/22, ko-fi commissioners using ko-fi can receive a free sfw bust sketch of a requested character.

 

🧊 Additional Fees may be charged in the following situations:

• Complex characters, unless simplification is allowed.

• Characters that have incomplete or no visual references, requiring me to design some or all parts of a given character.

• Asking for major edits such as pose, outfit, or background alterations after the final has already been sent.

• Private commissions (ie, commissions that I am not allowed to post publicly)

• Rush orders that must be completed in a timeframe totaling less than 10 days from payment being received.

🧊 Refunds

• If I am not able to finish your commission after you have paid, you will receive a full refund.

• If you cancel before I have started working, you will receive a full refund.

• If you cancel after I have started working, you will be refunded depending on the stage that has been reached:

  • sketch or first WIP sent: 50% refund. no refund if half paid

  • lineart or color started: 20% refund

  • shading, painting, or animating started: no refund

  • No refunds after the final image has been sent.

• ​After requesting a refund that follows the above rules, please allow me a week to process the refund. Do not file a chargeback!

🧊 Commercial Use

​In order to use a piece for commercial usage, the prices below must be paid, unless otherwise noted.​ 

• Commercial usage for streaming/twitch/youtube is double the price of the piece.

• For any other commercial usage, the price will be calculated on a case-by-case basis. Please contact me so we can discuss what is right for your project.

🧊 Process

1. You send me a form detailing the commission(s) you want.

2. When I accept your form, I will send you details regarding payment. You can either pay in full upfront or pay half upfront.

3. If the style you requested comes with one, I will send you a sketch or WIP. Once you approve it, I will complete the rest of the commission, providing additional WIPs along the way when necessary.

4. After the final image has been sent, any minor changes that need to be made, like coloring fixes, are free. Major changes like pose or background alterations may incur additional fees.
